The Maybury was built in 1935. It is located in the West of Edinburgh. A significant building in the art deco style.
First used as a roadhouse it still retains all it's character and grandeur.

A typical Norwegian house - 4 storeys, big garden, lots of trees, granite rocks. This house was painted in autumn
and looks fantastic with the gold and red leafed trees. The sky is grey and cloudy - just like Scottish skies!

The Bilston Glen Colliery was in operation at Loanhead by the Pentland Hills, south of Edinburgh. It has now been levelled and nothing remains of it
apart from photographs in the Mining Museum at Newtongrange.
